Career day at Al-Ahliyya Amman University

Dr. Sadeq Hamed, President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, inaugurated the Career Day which was held on the University campus with the participation of 40 companies and institutions from various sectors. During the inauguration ceremony, Dr. Sadeq Hamed stressed that the Career Day contributes to creating an environment that fosters cooperation between students and institutions operating in the public and private sectors. He hoped that the Career Day will achieve its envisaged objectives. The President of the University said that this day serves the University's vision and objectives in promoting communication between the University and the companies operating in the labor market and introducing and developing academic programs and disciplines to keep pace with modern developments in line with the requirements of the labor market. Such event further enhances students' skills and builds bridges inside and outside the University, he added. The Career Day event featured success stories of a number of university graduates who were able to achieve tremendous success in the field of business through hard work and perseverance.The President of the University, accompanied by the faculty members and administrative bodies, toured the various stands of the exhibition and listened to a brief demonstration of the companies and the job opportunities they provide. The career day was well-received by the students who learn about the available job opportunities, the nature of these jobs, and transformations taking place in broad sectors of the labor market in terms of supply and demand.
