Career Day 2025 at AAU

Under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Khaled Al-Bakar, Minister of Labor, Mr. Abdullah Al-Jabour, Acting Secretary General of the Ministry, inaugurated the events of Career Day 2025 at Al-Ahliyya Amman University on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. The event was organized by the Career Guidance and Alumni Follow-up Office at the Deanship of Student Affairs. The opening ceremony was attended by Professor Ahmad Hamdan, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Professor Mustafa Al-Atiyyat, Dean of Student Affairs, along with several faculty deans, academic staff members, representatives of public and private sector institutions, and a large number of students, graduates, and members of the local community. This year’s Career Day saw the active participation of 90 companies and institutions from various sectors, offering numerous employment opportunities for the university’s graduates and local job seekers. The event aimed to support job creation and address the challenges of unemployment. In his speech, Professor Mustafa Al-Atiyyat emphasized the university’s vital role in aligning educational outcomes with labor market needs. He praised the continuous support from the university’s leadership, particularly Dr. Maher Hourani, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Professor Sari Hamdan, University President, in empowering graduates and opening real career pathways for them. Prof. Al-Atiyyat also highlighted that organizing such events reflects the university’s commitment to its social responsibility and its serious efforts to support Jordanian youth in overcoming economic and employment challenges. He expressed his appreciation for the strong participation of national companies and institutions, which offered quality job opportunities and demonstrated the private sector’s commitment to supporting the local labor market.
