Business School at Al-Ahliyya Amman University to Enrich the Arabic Content for SAP Information Systems

The Business School, in collaboration with SAP, organized an initiative to enrich Arabic language content for information systems.Five universities from various Arab countries participated in this initiative, including Al-Ahliyya Amman University, represented by The Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Moataz Al-Dabai, and Dr. Hossam Yassin, Head of the Departments of Business, E-commerce and Management Information Systems, as well as Dr. Ahmed Abu Arrabi, representing the Department of Business and E-Commerce.Business and E-commerce students, in addition to Business Analysis Technology students have contributed to the auditing and matching of the terms used between the two languages (Arabic, English) in SAP's information systems and helped to enrich those system’s Arabic content. The students have also helped lay the foundations for content creators to use sound language that meets the requirements of the labor market. This initiative has also been reinforced by offering a clear insight and knowledge of SAP's global systems for the faculty students, which encouraged them to commit to the business environment by participating in this three-month initiative. The company will hand over accredited training certificates to participants in addition to giving them advantage in future employment opportunities.
