Art Workshop for “Supporting the People of Gaza Society” at Al-Ahliyya Amman University

The Faculty of Architecture and Design at Al-Ahliyya Amman University received a group of orphan children of “Supporting the People of Gaza Society” to participate with the University students in an art workshop for drawing with colored pencils. The workshop lasted for three hours during which children learnt the basics of drawing and drew paintings expressing their ideas. The most remarkable paintings of children will be showcased in exhibitions that will be held by the University during the coming period for the students of the Department of Architecture and Design, in collaboration with King Abdullah II Fund coordinated by the Committee of Community Service and Cultural Activities at the Faculty of Architecture and Design. During the workshop, Dr. Inam Khalaf, Vice President for Academic Affairs, presented souvenirs to children in the presence of the Dean, a number of faculty members and students of the Faculty of Architecture and Design.
