An Orientation Day for the students of the Faculty of Law

Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculty of Law at Al-Ahliyya Amman University, Prof. Musleh Al-Tarawneh welcomed the new law students in a welcoming meeting that was held on Monday 7/11/2022, in which it was attended by Vice Deans, Heads of Departments and faculty members. Prof. Musleh highlighted the importance of studying law and guided the students on the tools that must be used to excel in their studies, where he underlined the necessity of law to be reflected on the personality of the students and their behaviors. Prof. Musleh highlighted his speech by motivating law students in which they contribute in spreading and establishing the principle and definition of law, preserving security and stability of society and actively contributing to civil and political life.Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Al-Tarawneh also reviewed for the students the golden rules to succeed in law studies, where they need continuous reading about law to enrich their knowledge database and be more familiar with the manuals besides the need of preparing for lectures and taking notes that will not only help in studying and preparing for the exams, yet help them in their career paths as most faculty members have practiced law in courts and have useful experiences and advices that they share during lectures. He also emphasized the students to participate in extracurricular activities as courts’ visits organized almost every semester. At the end of the meeting, supervisors spread brochures on core values of law, where it witnessed great interaction and feedback from all new students in which they appreciate the guidance offered by all academics that will aid in the success of their educational journey.
