An informative meeting for new students at the Faculty of Educational Sciences at Al-Ahliyya Amman University

Prof. Dr. Qusai Shambour, Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences at Al-Ahliyya Amman University met with the new students for the first semester of the academic year 2021/2022, with the aim of ensuring that students receive the necessary support and guidance for their educational journey. The meeting was held remotely via the Microsoft Teams platform, in the presence of department heads and a number of faculty members in the college.At the beginning of the meeting, the dean of the college welcomed the students and emphasized the university's vision and mission of excellence in providing teaching, learning and scientific research services to become a preferred option for students. He explained that the creation of the Faculty of Educational Sciences at the university was based on the university’s vision, which aims to build a vibrant society with solid values, in order to achieve a prosperous and sustainable economy, by strengthening the education system, and raising its efficiency to meet the development requirements of an ambitious nation that guarantees quality education for all its children and residents. and enhances their learning opportunities for life.The programs offered by the college and its study and guidance plans and how to use the e-learning platforms available by the university were also reviewed, in addition to a set of important tips for success in university studies, the most important of which is focusing on the necessity of adhering to the study and guiding plans and adhering to the regulations and instructions in force at Al-Ahliyya Amman University.The importance of communicating with academic advisors and department heads through all available means such as e-mail or the Microsoft Teams platform and other means, and the necessity of adhering to the dates of registration and exams, and following up on the bulletin board and the college and university websites, was also emphasized to always be aware of the latest developments.At the end of the meeting, inquiries and questions were opened, and the Dean concluded the meeting, wishing the college students success and success.
