Al-Kilani stressed the importance of not spreading rumors, especially during challenging and exceptional circumstances that a country may face, as this can have a negative impact on societal peace and the work of relevant state authorities. He emphasized that those who spread rumors are criminals against the nation. First Lieutenant Yahya Al-Amoush from the Cybercrime Unit provided insights on how to prevent falling victim to cybercrimes. He explained that the Cybercrimes Law criminalizes many offenses committed online and prescribes appropriate penalties for them.
