An Awareness Campaign on Breast Cancer at Al-Ahliyya Amman University

The President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University,Dr. Sadeq Hamid,patronized the start of the program You are My Life ,Diagnose and Tell us the Good News,which was organized by the Jordanian Program for Breast Cancer at Al-Ahliyya Amman University.Dr. Hamid welcomed the attendants .He said that the University seeks to adopt charities and support awareness and education programs in partnership with all relevant national institutions.He emphasized the University pride in Jordanian Program for Breast Cancer as a national aim to reduce fatality rate from breast cancer through awareness and the transition from the stage of late diagnosis to early diagnosis and thereby increase the chances of recovery and treatment.Director of Health Balqa ,Dr.Khalid Hiyari,emphasized that the program is a national initiative that aims to provide and develop its services and seek to raise awareness about the importance of early diagnosis of breast cancer for all women in the Kingdom .The recovery rate reached between 95% to 98% with early diagnosis.Miss Noor Al Adalat delivered a poem about the subject. Ms. Sana Abd Al Dayem narrated her story of suffering and her insistence on the follow-up of treatment and cure,if God wills .At the end,they displayed a playYou are My Life ,Diagnose and Tell us the Good Newsacted by star Hussein Tbeishat as Alam Gafel and a number of Jordanians actors. Memorial shields were exchanged ,and appreciation certificates were delivered to the participants.
