An Agreement between Al-Ahliyya Amman University and the Picasso Institute of Arts

Al-Ahliyya Amman University signed a joint cooperation agreement with Picasso Institute of Arts and Media in order to cooperate in holding courses and Diplomas in various fields of training, including vocational and technical training in fashion, jewelry and animation design.The Director of the Department of Public and International Relations Ms. Enas Al-Hourani, signed the agreement on behalf of the University. The agreement also was signed by the General Director, Mr. Ammar Haffar on behalf of the Institute. Signing the agreement was attended by Miss. Lana Dabbas, in Charge of the Consultancy and Training Center, Miss. Heba Al-Shorfa, Head of the Department of Media and the Director of Business Development, Mr. Ahmed Abu Saad.The agreement called for activating cooperation between the two parties for the benefit of the trainees and increasing the knowledge and skills in the vocational and practical aspects to become more convenient to the needs of the private and public sectors, and to advance graduates to high levels that meet the local and international labor market requirements. This agreement is not only limited to University Students but also it allows a large segment of the society to register for training practically in places confined to design at the level of fashion, jewelry and animation.Ms. Al-Hourani emphasized the importance of cooperation with the Picasso Institute of Arts and Media as one of the leading arts professional institutes. The cooperation aimed to promote the training and professional process in the region. This should share experiences between the two parties and attain the supreme goal of preparing creative and qualified graduates who are able to meet the labor market requirements.Mr. Haffar emphasized the importance of this agreement with Al-Ahliyya Amman University, as the first Private University in the Middle East and the Kingdom. He expressed his admiration of the University and its great interest in Arts as well as in keeping up with all new developments in the latest technologies. He also emphasized the principle of complementation in the educational process and linking it with vocational and practical training. This should confirm the depth of the relationship and genuine partnership between education and the training sectors for the benefit of the trainees.
