An AAU Delegation Participates in A Workshop Titled “The Academic Development & Quality Assurance” Organized by The Ministry of Higher Education in Cooperation with the British Council and the British University of Plymouth

A delegation of vice Deans of the AAU Accreditation & Quality Affairs participated in the final workshop organized by the Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research in cooperation with the British Council and the British University of Plymouth. The AAU delegation included: Dr. Rana Abu Huwij of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Sajida Hawamdeh of the Faculty of Nursing and Dr. Abdulrahman Hamza of the Faculty of Information Technology. This two-day workshop focused on the academic development, quality assurance and higher education outcomes improvement. A number of directors and members of academic development & quality assurance centers in Jordanian universities participated in the workshop. The workshop also highlighted the methods used in the field of interactive teaching, how to apply scientific research and its outcomes in education processes and to design the best practical and educational programs for higher education in Jordan.Moreover, the workshop included sessions which introduced the concepts of research and innovation services in higher education institutions, design a system of research and innovation to support the competitive process in the field of scientific research and clarify the importance of the processes of measuring, monitoring and evaluating the consequent impact of the system of research and innovation services. The workshop organizers expressed their thanks and appreciation for the active participation of the delegation, their positive role and constructive suggestions for the success of the workshop.
