Amman Al-Ahliyya University’s Faculty of Engineering Wins Four Awards at the 13th National Technology Parade (NTP13)
Amman Al-Ahliyya University hosted the 13th National Technology Parade (NTP13) on Saturday, July 4, 2026. The event was inaugurated by Professor Ahmad Hamdan, Acting President of Amman Al-Ahliyya University, at the Arena Theater. The festival brought together participants from Jordanian universities and organizations supporting the technology sector and featured an exhibition of entrepreneurial projects, specialized panel discussions, and competitions showcasing innovative projects.
The Faculty of Engineering achieved outstanding success by winning four awards across different competition categories:
• First Place – Innovation for People with Disabilities for the project "Design and Implementation of a Practical Low-Cost EMG-Based Wheelchair," supervised by Professor Jamal Al-Nabulsi, with student team members Muayyad Zuhair Al-Aqayleh and Anas Mohammad Masaad.
• First Place – Public Safety and Quality of Life for the project "WatchNet2.0," supervised by Engineer Muneera Al-Tayeb, with student team members Mira Qasem, Omar Al-Tamimi, Khaled Al-Raoud, and Yousef Badar.
• First Place – Financial Technology (FinTech) for the project "Qassemha," supervised by Dr. Wasan Al-Amro, with student team members Waseem Mousa Al-Shawabkeh, Mohammad Amer Abu Hammour, and Raneem Bani Hani.
• Third Place – Health and Medical Technologies for the project "RadarCar," supervised by Dr. Ali Alimat, with student team members Abdullah Hashem Abdullah Hamdan, Mohammad Saad Al-Ghamdi, Badr Samer Ahmad, and Zaid Ahmad Al-Masha'leh.
These achievements reflect the Faculty of Engineering’s commitment to fostering innovation, supporting applied research, and encouraging students to develop technological solutions that address real-world challenges and contribute to sustainable development.
