Amman Al-Ahliyya University Champions Shine at the Jordanian Universities Boxing Championship, Winning Five Medals and Two Team Trophies [1]
The Jordanian Universities Boxing Championship concluded on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Asim bin Nayef. The championship brought together participants from universities across the Kingdom in a highly competitive atmosphere that reflected the advanced standard of university sports in Jordan. [1]
Athletes from Amman Al-Ahliyya University delivered an outstanding performance, winning a total of five medals:
Osama Khaled Mualla – Gold Medal (90 kg)
Mais Abu Khdeijah – Gold Medal (60 kg)
Omar Murad Naeem – Silver Medal (75 kg)
Mohammad Ahmad Al-Qawasmeh – Bronze Medal (+90 kg)
Aoun Tawfiq Natour – Bronze Medal (85 kg)
The University's boxing team also achieved remarkable success in the overall team standings, securing the second-place team trophy in the men's competition and the third-place team trophy in the women's competition, further demonstrating Amman Al-Ahliyya University's strong presence among the participating Jordanian universities.
