Amman Al Ahliyya University and the Royal Automobile Club of Jordan Sign Agreement to Enhance Practical Training for Hospitality and Tourism Students

Amman Al Ahliyya University and the Royal Automobile Club of Jordan (RACJ) have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at strengthening collaboration in the field of practical training, contributing to the professional development of students from the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management and preparing them to enter the labor market in accordance with the latest standards in the hospitality and tourism industry. The agreement was signed on behalf of Amman Al Ahliyya University by Professor Dr. Ahmad Hamdan, Acting President of the University, and on behalf of the Royal Automobile Club of Jordan by Mr. Walid Saleh Zaki, Chairman of the Board of Directors. The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Khaldoun Alawi, General Manager; Mr. Alaa Shahada, Administrative Affairs Manager; and Ms. Aya Sanqarat from the Human Resources Department, representing the Royal Automobile Club of Jordan. Representing the University were Dr. Hazem Al-Momani, Dean of the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management, and Chef Jehan Sahawneh, Executive Director of the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management. Professor Dr. Ahmad Hamdan stated that the agreement reflects Amman Al Ahliyya University's vision of building effective partnerships with both public and private sector institutions to enhance the quality of educational outcomes. He emphasized that the University places practical training at the forefront of its priorities, considering it a fundamental pillar in preparing graduates equipped with the professional competence and practical experience required to meet the evolving demands of the labor market. For his part, Mr. Walid Saleh Zaki, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Royal Automobile Club of Jordan, expressed his pride in collaborating with Amman Al Ahliyya University. He affirmed the Club's commitment to supporting young people and enhancing their professional qualifications, noting that the agreement represents an important step toward providing a professional training environment where students can gain direct exposure to the workplace and acquire practical experience in accordance with international best practices in the hospitality industry. Under the terms of the agreement, students from Amman Al Ahliyya University will undertake practical training at the facilities of the Royal Automobile Club of Jordan through a specialized training program covering hospitality, culinary arts, restaurant management, and hotel services. The program will enable students to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world professional environment while participating in practical training courses and activities designed to develop both their professional and personal skills in line with the University's academic curricula and the needs of the labor market.
