Amman Al-Ahliyya Department of Arts and Sciences hosts the Head of the Media Department at Al-Rashid Center for Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine

As part of Amman Al-Ahliyya University's vision and mission, and in line with its commitment to community engagement, a lecture titled "Drugs: The Path to Destruction" was organized in collaboration with the Student Affairs Deanship. The lecture was delivered by Mr. Anas Al-Tantawi, Head of the Media Department at Al-Rashid Center for Psychiatric Medicine and Addiction. During the lecture, the importance of raising awareness among young people about the dangers of drugs in all their forms was emphasized. The speaker discussed the hazards of drugs and provided an informative presentation on different types of drugs, how to identify them, and how to deal with them. This lecture reflects Amman Al-Ahliyya University's dedication to educating its students and raising their awareness about this crucial issue. The meeting was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Professor Dr. Ruba Al-Bataineh, along with several faculty members and students from the college. The discussion was moderated by Professor Dr. Sawsan Badrkhan, Chair of the Department of Social and Human Sciences. There was active interaction between the speaker and the students, with many inquiries and contributions that enriched the lecture. At the end of the lecture, the Dean expressed her gratitude to the guest speaker for the valuable presentation and presented him with a certificate of appreciation.
