Al-Masri Elementary Mixed School Students Visit Al-Ahliyya Amman University
A student group of Al-Masri Elementary Mixed School conducted an academic visit to Al-Ahliyya Amman University. The objective of this visit is to introduce students to the University, its vision, the scientific and humanitarian disciplines offered by the University, and the advanced education systems adopted by the University as teaching approach in all faculties. At the beginning of the visit, the Director of Public and International Relations Office, Ms. Shifa Shadeed, received the delegation at Hourani e-Learning Center. She presented a summary in which she indicated the stages of the establishment of the University, its evolution and the disciplines offered by the University in bachelor s and master’s programs. She reviewed the curricular and extracurricular activities held by the University in order to develop the scientific and practical abilities of students, refine their personalities, and foster their potential and talents. Ms. Shadeed also addressed the services provided by Arena Cultural and Sports Complex, Science Service Office, Hourani e-Learning Center, Hearing and Speech Center, which provides free services to the local community, and other offices and centers that serve society and its institutions. The student group and the two supervisors, Raeda Khleifat, and Eman Zubi, toured the faculties, laboratories and facilities and were briefed by faculty members on each faculty and on Arena Cultural and Sports Complex. At the end of the visit, the school teachers and students expressed their admiration of the advanced scientific level of the University and their appreciation for the cordial reception and generous hospitality they received by the University.
