Mohammad Al-Jaafari, a student at Amman Al-Ahliyya University and the world's top-ranked karate athlete, continues to elevate Jordan's name on the international stage through his exceptional sporting achievements. Al-Jaafari added another milestone to Jordanian sport by winning the gold medal in the Men's Kumite (-84 kg) final at the 2026 Asian Senior Karate Championship, currently being held in Bali, Indonesia. He secured the championship title following an outstanding performance in the final match, defeating the United Arab Emirates' Reda Al-Masoudi by a commanding 13–3 scoreline, demonstrating his technical excellence and reaffirming his status as the deserved champion of the event.
