Al-Husseini sponsors the graduation of “I Participate” students in Al-Ahliyya Amman University

Ammar Al-Husseini, a member of the Board of Commissioners of the Independent Election Commission, congratulated the students of Al-Ahliyya Amman University who completed the requirements of the (I Participate – Universities) program, which is implemented by the Independent Election Commission in cooperation and partnership with the Crown Prince Foundation and Jordanian public and private universities, and with the support of the partnership project. In his speech at the graduation ceremony in the presence of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Sari Hamdan, and the Dean of Student Affairs at the University, Dr. Mustafa Al-Atiyat, Al-Husseini stressed the importance of this program in its various stages, which aims to build the capabilities and skills of young people in the field of active political participation, by informing them of the legislative environment regulating political life, which is based on the Jordanian constitution, which considered the nation to be the source of power, and guaranteed the right of Jordanians to form associations, unions and political parties, provided that their goals are legitimate, their means are peaceful and have systems that do not violate the provisions of the Constitution . He added that the “I Participate” program also aims to provide its young members with the skills that will provide them with the necessary knowledge to enhance their political participation and move them to a new stage of openness and active political participation. He pointed out that the vision of the Jordanian state has strengthened the participation of women and youth in political life as they are tools of change, development and advancement in various fields. For his part, Hamdan praised the efforts of the Independent Election Commission in the field of awareness and political education, and motivating young people to engage in partisan work and increase participation in the elections as candidates and voters, noting that this event achieves the vision of His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein. Hamdan also stressed his confidence in Jordan's future and success due to his confidence in the experiences of distinguished Jordanian youth. At the end of the ceremony, Al-Husseini distributed certificates to the graduates.
