Al-Hourani Group Supports and Participates in A Conference Titled “Promoting the Touristic Product in Jordan”

Al-Hourani Group, represented by the Chairman of the Board of Directors Dr. Maher Al-Hourani, fully supported a conference titled Promoting the Touristic Product in Jordan organized by the group of “Saraya News Friends”. This event took place under the patronage of the Minister of Tourism, Mrs. Majd Shweikah and was attended by a large number of concerned specialists. On behalf of Dr. Maher Al-Hourani, Mr. Ayman Rashid, the General Manager of Movenpick Hotel (Amman), represented Al-Hourani Group in this conference. The three-session conference discussed touristic services, legislations and investment promotion in tourism, in addition to touristic marketing and culture. The conference concluded with the following recommendations: rectifying the imbalances in the legislations related to tourism wherever they exist; establishing an electronic platform that links all touristic service providers under the supervision of the Ministry of Tourism; paying attention to the media sector and organizing tourist trips through the Ministry of Tourism for the media people to play their role in promoting the touristic sites at homeland.It is worth mentioning that Al-Hourani Group comprises Al-Ahliyya Amman University, Al-JAMI’A Schools Group, the Arena Hotel & Tourism Investments Company, The Movenpic Hotel (Amman), formerly Holiday Inn and the Jordan Dairy Company “Al-Maha”.
