Al-Ahliyya Amman Univesity’s Women's Health Center launches Yes, I can quit smoking campaign

The Women's Health Center at Al-Ahliyya Amman University launched the Yes I can quit smoking initiative on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, on the occasion of World No Tobacco Day, where university students cracked cigarettes and threw them as an expression of their ability to abstain from smoking on this day.Students from the Faculty of Pharmacy, under the supervision of the Center's Director Dr. Rana Abu Hwaij, presented the multiple risks of smoking affecting the health of smokers and the entire community, and highlighted appropriate solutions to address the withdrawal symptoms that may face the cessation of smoking and help to quit smoking in order to eventually have a campus that is smoke-free.
