Al-Ahliyya Amman University Won the Second Rank for the Best Short Film
The students of Al-Ahliyya Amman University who participated in the Program of Youth Leadership ( I participate +) won the second rank of the competition of the best short film for the youth initiative, Our Fees are Unified .It occurred during the graduation ceremony of the participants in the program ( I participate +) set by the Deanship of Student Affairs of the University and the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs with support from the United States Agency for International Development,at Ras al-Ain Gallery, in the presence of 327 students representing 18 Jordanian Universities .The students of Al-Ahliyya Amman University were subjected during the program to workshops of planning for defense campaigns, communication skills, developing goals and message, as well as community media and planning for events ,which it implemented at 25 Universities in Jordan.Technical Director ,Sen Oznar,said to the mission of the United States Agency for International Development during the ceremony, The celebrated campaigns are a proof that when youth are given a real opportunities to participate, they will contribute to solve complex issues and make positive changes in their communities.After training,students will build their campaigns and reach out to decision makers and parliamentarians in order to mobilize support and gain endorsement for these campaigns .They also build partnerships with stakeholders in order to build alliances and publish their campaign messages to the largest possible number of people.During the ceremony, the students displayed their defense campaigns in front of guests and attendants from various institutions and universities. These campaigns included informational, educational, social and economic topics.
