Al-Ahliyya Amman University Wins First Place in the “SheHacks” Competition with the Participation of 27 Jordanian Universities

Al-Ahliyya Amman University won first place in the national SheHacks competition through its Faculty of Information Technology team, Code4Her. The competition, dedicated to female students, was organized by the Green Circle Company under the patronage of HRH Princess Basma bint Ali, with the participation of teams from twenty-seven Jordanian public and private universities, totaling forty-nine teams from various technology disciplines. The university’s students demonstrated exceptional ability, creativity, and competitive skill, earning the championship title with distinction and adding a new achievement to the university’s record of excellence. The team consisted of: Lamis Shaath – Sally Al-Kabariti – Rania Matar – Hiba Al-Kharrarbah This achievement was supervised by: - Prof. Mohammad Al-Qatawneh, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology - Instructor Nada Al-Shafie - Mr. Hussein Al-Zghatat This victory reflects the advanced capabilities of the university’s female students in technology and programming and reaffirms the university’s commitment to fostering creativity and innovation while strengthening its leadership in the tech landscape.
