Al-Ahliyya Amman University Welcomes the Iraqi Cultural Attaché in Jordan

Professor Ahmad Hamdan, Vice President for Academic Affairs (Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry) at our AAU, welcomed the Iraqi Cultural Attaché in Jordan, Dr. Khair Al-Din Al-Amin, in the presence of the President's Advisor, Prof. Hadeel Yaseen, Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, and Prof. Ali Qutaishat, Dean of the Faculty of Law. Professor Ahmad Hamdan emphasized the important role of the Iraqi cultural attaché in facilitating and enhancing academic relations, expressing his appreciation for the efforts made to support Iraqi students in Jordan. During the visit, the Iraqi cultural attaché presented a seminar at the Faculty of Law on the 2023 project for codifying the rules of private international law in France, highlighting key features and changes to existing laws, as well as the significance of these amendments in improving international legal cooperation. The seminar also addressed the challenges of applying these rules in the Arab and international context, along with the necessity of adapting local legal systems to meet international standards.
