Al-Ahliyya Amman University Welcomes the Chairman of the Physical Therapy Sector Committee at the Egyptian Supreme Council of Universities

Prof. Sari Hamdan, President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, received Prof. Alaa Abdel-Hakim Belba, Chairman of the Physical Therapy Sector Committee at the Egyptian Supreme Council of Universities. The meeting was attended by Prof. Ahmad Hamdan, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Prof. Ghaleb Arikat, Dean of the Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences, and Dr. Saad Al-Nassaan, Head of the Department of Physical Therapy. The discussions focused on strengthening academic and professional cooperation, particularly concerning Egyptian students studying physical therapy at the university. Views were exchanged on various matters related to their educational journey. At the end of the meeting, the University President presented a commemorative shield to Prof. Belba in appreciation of his visit. Following the meeting, Prof. Belba toured the Department of Physical Therapy, where he was introduced to the modern laboratories, advanced facilities, and resources available to students of the program. He expressed his admiration for the department’s infrastructure, curriculum, and the competence of both academic and administrative staff. He also met with Egyptian students enrolled in the department, where he explained the procedures for equivalency of non-Egyptian degrees at the Egyptian Supreme Council of Universities, as well as the steps required to obtain a professional practice license. He addressed their questions regarding study and future career opportunities. This visit reflects Al-Ahliyya Amman University’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with academic and professional institutions in the Arab Republic of Egypt, in a way that supports Egyptian students and contributes to the advancement of the physical therapy program at the university.
