Al-Ahliyya Amman University Welcomes New Students

The Deanship of Student Affairs organized a welcoming celebration for new and enrolled students at Al-Ahliyya Amman University, in order to integrate them into the University activities and events, on the first semester of the academic year 2016 -2017.The ceremony included in the beginning the Royal Anthem of Jordan and reading verses from the Holy Quran and a speech of the Dean of Student Affairs ,Dr.majd Asilh,who welcomed the distinguished guests and talked about what the University has provided of quality education,a safe learning environment,and various types of purposeful activities.The President of the University ,Dr.Sadiq Hamid,delivered a guiding speech for students to encourage them to engage in extracurricular activities and make the effort to raise the educational attainment.Varied paragraphs were presented during the ceremony.Mr. Iyad Shaaban,President Assistant for Administrative Affairs and Quality,talked about the University vision, goals and core values .Then an introductory paragraph came about the Counseling and Special Education Center by Dr.Hussein Al Tarawneh.The student, Ali Mazal, from the Faculty of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences, presented a poem.Then an entertainment activity came prepared by the Department of Public and International Relations including an introductory video about the University and the cultural contest.At the end of the ceremony, the University band presented a set of songs and have distributed souvenirs to new students.
