Al-Ahliyya Amman University Welcomes Delegation from University of Prešov and Technical University of Košice in Slovakia

As part of strengthening international academic collaboration, Prof. Sari Hamdan, President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, received a high-level academic delegation from Slovakia under the Erasmus+ program. The meeting was attended by Dr. Fayrouz Abu Sweilm, Director of the Global Engagement Center, and Ms. Reem Al-Abed, Head of the Department of Global Partnership and Outreach. The delegation included Prof. Peter Terpak, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts at University of Prešov; Prof. Gabriel Bala; Prof. Kamil Kardish; and Prof. Josef Zajak, Dean of the Faculty of Manufacturing Technologies at Technical University of Košice. During the meeting, Prof. Sari Hamdan welcomed the delegation and presented the University’s vision, academic standing, and key achievements at both the local and international levels. The visit also included a tour of the University’s campus and a number of faculties. The delegation visited the Faculty of Engineering, where they were received by Prof. Bashar Al-Tarawneh, Dean of the Faculty, and the Faculty of Information Technology, where Prof. Mohammed Al-Qatawnah, Dean of the Faculty, welcomed them. During this visit, potential opportunities for collaboration and exchange of expertise in academic and research fields were explored.
