Al-Ahliyya Amman University taekwondo players meet Mexican players remotely
Taekwondo players from Al-Ahliyya Amman University met with Mexican taekwondo coaches and players in the presence of the Mexican Embassy staff, represented by the ambassador Roberto Rodríguez Hernandez, to talk about exchanging expertise in the field of sports training during the Corona pandemic.The meeting began with Dr. Anas Al Saud, Assistant President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University for Foreign Affairs, welcoming participants from the Mexican side and the staff of the Mexican Embassy in Amman.In the meeting, which was held remotely, the national sports champions of Al-Ahliyya Amman University students, including champion Ahmed Abu Ghosh, gold medalist at the 2016 Rio Olympics, and champion Saleh Al Sharbati, silver medalist of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, spoke about sports in general and taekwondo in particular, their careers, achievements, future aspirations, and what the university offers to support their progress and achievements.At the same time, everyone stressed the importance of the role of private institutions in intensifying efforts and continued support of sports authorities and athletes because of their role in raising the Jordanian flag high in all international events. The meeting was attended by Instructor Saleh Hammad from the Department of Physical Education at Al-Ahliyya Amman University.
