Al-Ahliyya Amman University supports the steadfastness of our people in Gaza by a sit-in protest

The Deanship of Student Affairs at Al-Ahliyya Amman University organized a sit-in protest to support the steadfastness of our people in Gaza. Students performed Al-Ghaeb prayers for the souls of the martyrs, and waved banners and slogans condemning the Zionist aggression. The students chanted slogans denouncing the crimes of the occupation which targets civilians, women and children. They stressed that this fierce attack has only increased the strength, resolve, and determination of our people. Speeches were delivered by some faculty members which confirmed as a whole supporting the steadfastness of the heroic people in Gaza and providing all possible support to the people of Gaza of Hashem. They asserted that all international forums, United Nations organizations, and the international community should be addressed to put an end to this barbaric Israeli attack in order to exercise pressure on the Zionist regime to stop its continued aggression on the Palestinian people. The participants also called for using all available means to defend our land, our people, and our dignity, revive people resistance, and uplift the spirit of hope among the future generations. The President of the University, Prof. Dr. Sadeq Hamed, a number of faculty members and a large gathering of students participated in this sit-in.
