Al-Ahliyya Amman University Students Win Four Medals at Fujairah International Taekwondo Championship
Students of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, representing the national taekwondo team, achieved a remarkable sporting accomplishment by winning four medals- a gold, a silver, and two bronze-on the second day of the Fujairah International Taekwondo Championship, a two-star rated event that featured strong participation from top athletes worldwide.
The gold medal was won by student Jaafar Al-Dawood, while alumnus Zaid Al-Halawani secured the silver medal. The two bronze medals were claimed by students Zaid Mustafa and Mahmoud Al-Taraira, reflecting the high technical level and international competitiveness of the university’s athletes.
The Al-Ahliyya Amman University community, represented by Chairman of the Board Dr. Maher Al-Hourani and President Prof. Sari Hamdan, extended their warmest congratulations to the students for this distinguished achievement, which adds to the university’s record of sporting excellence at local, regional, and international levels.
