The Deanship of Student Affairs participated in the traffic parade organized by the Central Traffic Department on Friday, 28/5/2010. The parade started in front of the Central Traffic Department at the Station towards the Roman Amphitheater, through the Army Street. The participants in the parade raised banners denouncing traffic accidents and their consequences, and demanding compliance with laws and regulations related to safety on roads. The participants demanded the provision of a safe traffic and accident free environment for all citizens. This parade is organized in conjunction with the celebrations of Independence Day, King Abdullah II accession to throne, the Anniversary of the Great Arab Revolt and Army Day in the Kingdom. A large number of citizens who represent various popular, official and private sectors, and school and university students participated in the parade. Al-Ahliyya Amman University students participated effectively in the parade, as they raised banners and posters condemning traffic incidents and their consequences.
