Al-Ahliyya Amman University Students Conclude Training Camp Activities for 2013
Al-Ahliyya Amman University students concluded the training camp activities for 2013 which were held in the Permanent Camp of Hassan Youth Prize during the period 10-13/6/2013. This event was geared towards developing initiative spirit, creativity and self-confidence and consolidating national belonging, teamwork, and volunteerism among students. The camp program included training participants on hiking skill, and team spirit. The participants marched 38 km from Jerash to Ajloun, climbed down mountains, and visited tourist areas such as the Roman Theatre, Ajloun Castle, Qalaa Mount and other archeological sites. The participants also performed volunteer work in Hasan Forest such as cleaning, weeding and special visits to orphanages institutions in Jerash, Mafraq, Irbid and other provinces. At the end of the activities of the camp, the participants were examined in terms of fitness. Educational lectures were held and the participants learned about personal skills that introduced them to Hassan Youth Award, its goals and philosophy and how its programs are implemented.
