Al-Ahliyya Amman University Signs Two Memoranda of Understanding with the International University for Science and Technology in Kuwait and Jinan University in Lebanon

On the sidelines of the 57th General Conference of the Association of Arab Universities, hosted by the International University for Science and Technology (IUST) in Kuwait, and as part of its efforts to enhance academic and research cooperation at both regional and international levels, Al-Ahliyya Amman University (AAU), represented by its President Professor Sari Hamdan, signed two Memoranda of Understanding with the International University for Science and Technology in Kuwait and Jinan University in Lebanon. The signing ceremony was held in the presence of Dr. Barakat Al-Hudhaiban, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of IUST, and Professor Dr. Bassam Hijazi, President of Jinan University. These agreements aim to foster academic exchange, conduct joint scientific research, and promote collaboration in various areas of higher education. The MoUs include provisions for the exchange of faculty members and students, the joint organization of scientific conferences and workshops, and other initiatives designed to raise the academic and research standards of the three institutions. Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan emphasized the importance of these agreements in opening new horizons for students and researchers. He reiterated AAU’s commitment to building strategic partnerships with distinguished universities in the Arab world and beyond. For his part, Dr. Barakat Al-Hudhaiban expressed his pride in this collaboration, noting that the agreement represents a strategic step toward the advancement of higher education in the region and the strengthening of academic ties among Arab institutions to better serve students and enhance research quality. Professor Dr. Bassam Hijazi also expressed his pride in the collaboration and affirmed Jinan University’s commitment to advancing academic and scientific relations with Al-Ahliyya Amman University, contributing to the exchange of knowledge and culture between the two brotherly countries.
