Al-Ahliyya Amman University Signs Memorandum of Understanding with the Jordanian Pharmacists Association

Al-Ahliyya Amman University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Jordanian Pharmacists Association to strengthen joint cooperation, support pharmaceutical education, and enhance professional practice for pharmacists in the Kingdom. The MoU was signed by Prof. Sari Hamdan, President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, and Dr. Zaid Al-Kilani, President of the Jordanian Pharmacists Association, in the presence of Dr. Arwa Al-Khatib, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy. Prof. Hamdan stated that the MoU aligns with the university’s vision to strengthen partnerships with national professional institutions, emphasizing Al-Ahliyya Amman University’s focus on developing academic and training programs that meet labor market needs. Dr. Al-Kilani highlighted that the MoU represents an important step toward organizing and enhancing training programs for pharmacists, supporting professional license renewal requirements, and raising professional standards. Dr. Al-Khatib noted that the agreement will positively impact pharmacy students and graduates by facilitating joint courses, collaborative research, workshops, and scientific conferences, reaffirming the faculty’s commitment to aligning educational outcomes with modern professional requirements. The MoU outlines coordination for joint training courses for pharmacy graduates on subjects necessary for professional license renewal, management of course documentation, obtaining approvals from relevant health authorities, collaboration in scientific research, organizing academic activities, and supervising the implementation of agreed-upon training programs.
