Al-Ahliyya Amman University signs cooperation agreement with Amadeus Company

Al-Ahliyya Amman University concluded a cooperation agreement with Amadeus Jordan National Touristic Marketing Company. The agreement was signed by Prof. Dr. Sadeq Hamed, President of the University, and the representative of Amadeus Company, Mr. Fadi Al-Asal, Chief Executive Director of the Company. The agreement comes within the framework of cooperation with the Company in order to provide the laboratories of Al-Hourani Tourist and Hotel Training Center with Amadeus reservation program services to be utilized by students of Hotel Management and Tourism Department. Under the new agreement, Al-Hourani Tourist and Hotel Training Center will provide training courses on using Amadeus program for the benefit of the University students and the local community. The President of the University underscored the importance of activating real-life application through the introduction of the latest software and techniques in tourism and aviation sector. Amadeus program is known worldwide as a reservation and operation system. For his part, Mr. Fadi Al-Asal praised the permanent joint cooperation with Al-Ahliyya Amman University and hoped for continued cooperation in the future to raise the level of students through the introduction of the latest software used in hotels and tourism sector.The signing of the agreement was attended by Vice President, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences, Prof. Dr. Mamoun Al-Dabei, head of Hotel and Tourism Management Department, and faculty members of the Department.
