Al-Ahliyya Amman University signs a training and employment agreement with the Jordanian Engineers Association

Al-Ahliyya Amman University signed a cooperation agreement with the Jordanian Engineers Association for training and employment of newly graduated engineers. During the signing ceremony, Prof. Sadeq Hamed said that the University will dedicate all its capabilities and expertise to train and qualify engineers and improve their scientific and practical level. He stressed that the Jordanian Engineers Association has made distinct efforts for training fresh graduate engineers and providing them with job opportunities inside and abroad the Kingdom in order to reduce unemployment and help them overcome the difficulties encountering their career path. There is a gap between theoretical university curricula and reality in the labor market, he noted.The agreement stipulates that the Jordanian Engineers Association will provide the University with statements of the engineers seeking training opportunities in order for the University to establish the necessary plans and programs to train them, raise their academic level, and increase their expertise and competence. The agreement was signed by Prof. Sadeq Hamed, President of the University, and Engineer Abdullah Obeidat, Chairman of the Jordanian Engineers Association/Chairman of the Federation of Arab Engineers.
