Al-Ahliyya Amman University receives President of Rua’a Association for the Blind
Dr. Sadeq Hamed, President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, received Mr. Minwir Al-Salem, Chairman of Rua’a Association for the Blind and the media delegate of the Society. Mr. Minwir thanked Al-Ahliyya Amman University and its staff for the efforts made to provide material and moral support to Rua’a Association for the Blind, which included equipping a handicraft center for the Association by the University. This has left a deep impact on the employees and motivated them to work as a team. Mr. Minwir wished that all institutions follow the example of Al-Ahliyya Amman University and encourage volunteer and humanitarian activities. Mr. Minwir praised the students of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, their outstanding academic level, and their drive and competition to do various voluntary work for all groups in the community. He wished the University further progress and success. Dr. Sadeq expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the visit, explaining the importance of the role of universities and institutions in support of people with special needs and volunteer work organizations. Mr. Minwir Salem handed two admission applications to two blind students, in line with the University program for provision of two full scholarships for students with visual disabilities . At the end of the meeting, the President of Rua’a Association for the Blind delivered a souvenir photo to the President of the University.
