Al-Ahliyya Amman University receives Arab capitals youth
Al-Ahliyya Amman University hosted the Arab Capitals Youth Meeting, which was organized by the Supreme Council for Youth. The program included a panel discussion with HE Prof. Dr. Sadeq Hamed, President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, entitled “Arab Youth and the Culture of Volunteer Work”. Dr Hamed noted in his speech the importance of volunteerism and local community service and the role of youth in promoting the concept of volunteer work in all its forms. He also highlighted the role of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, in partnership with the local community and with the universities in various Arab countries, in underscoring the concept of volunteer work. At the end of the meeting, which was attended by the University deans of faculties and faculty members, Director of the Capital Youth Directorate, Mr. Hussain Jabour, and a large number of the University students, the delegation was taken on a tour to several facilities of the University, including Hourani E-Learning Center, Graphic Design Department at the Faculty of Architecture and Design at the University, and the Social, Cultural and Sports Complex (Arena).
