Al-Ahliyya Amman University receives a Libyan delegation representing higher education and scientific research sector

A Libyan delegation representing libya's higher education sector, accompanied by the cultural advisor at the Libyan Embassy in Amman, Dr. Ahmed Al-Dweik, visited Al-Ahliyya Amman University on Saturday, 11 June 2022.The President of the University, Prof. Dr. Sari Hamdan, received the university's guests and discussed with them ways of cooperation in the fields of education, scientific research, postgraduate studies, classification and international accreditations, attracting Libyan students, academic and research cooperation for faculty members, and holding diplomas and joint training courses.The Libyan delegation consisted of the Director General of the Natural Science and Technology Research Authority, Professor Dr. Faisal Al-Abdali, President of the Libyan Academy of Graduate Studies, Professor Dr. Ramadan Al-Madani, and Chairman of the Committee and Academic Advisor to the Libyan Ministry of Higher Education, Professor Dr. Jamal Al-Saghir. The Assistant President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, Dr. Anas Al Saud, took the delegation on a tour to get to know the university, its faculties, centers and facilities.The Libyan delegation appreciated the university's high academic and research level, which coincides with the process of development, modernization and the ability to receive international students in a higher percentage than local students, making it an attractive environment for cultural and cognitive diversity.The meeting was attended from the libyan side and the university as well by Dr. Mahmoud Al-Rifai, Dean of the Postgraduate School and Dr. Shadi Al-Hammouri, in addition to the Dean of the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, Dr. Nihaya Al-Shayab, and Director of the Office of International Relations, Dr. Fida Al-Tamimi.At the end of the visit, the President of the University presented the University Shield to the guests in honor of the delegation and their visit.
