Al-Ahliyya Amman University Ranked the Second in the Knowledge Contest

The team of AAU ranked the second in the Knowledge Contest for students of Jordanian universities produced by the Jordanian TV. A number of public and private universities participated in the program.The following students from the Faculty of Architecture and Design represented the University: Basem Adel, Ahmad Al-Kiali and Reham Eshtiwi as well as Moyad Da’bes from the Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences. Dr. Maher Al-Horani, Chairman of the Board of Directors, explained that winning this great university contest proved the cognitive skills which students of AAU are equipped with and confirmed the results which students achieved in the University Proficiency Exams. He added that this achievement is just the beginning to establish a knowledge team capable of competing on all levels.Prof. Sadeq Hamed, the President of AAU, asserted that this achievement should be added to the achievement series which the University achieved in all fields. He also confirmed that this achievement is an outcome of the concentrated efforts of all staffs in this distinguished educational institution including the administrative and academic staffs as well as students. It also reflects the excellent scientific skills which students of the University are equipped with.Dr. Rana Al-Matarneh, the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Design, expressed her pleasure and pride in this elite group of students for their scientific achievement which would not have been realized without the great support offered by the University. Congratulations are extended to our students and University for this scientific achievement.
