Al-Ahliyya Amman University participates in the preparatory meetings of “Creative Green Homes Designs” Competition

Within the extracurricular activities of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, the Faculty of Architecture and Design, Department of Architecture, will take part in the preparatory meetings of “Creative Green Homes Designs” Competition (JO-GREEN) organized by the Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Resources Development, Office of Queen Alia Social Responsibility Competition, through its representative in the Preparatory Committee, instructor Saba Nusseirat. The competition aims to stimulate undergraduate students in Jordanian universities to find innovative solutions to the issues and challenges in the field of energy, water, economy and climate change faced by Jordan. These issues are related to the design, building, and use of houses to establish a culture of green buildings (eco-friendly) and their applications. Three awards will be given to the best three designs according to the following evaluation criteria: First prize: JD 2,000 (JD Two Thousand), second prize: JD 1,500 (JD One Thousand and Five Hundred), third prize: JD 1,000 (JD One Thousand). All participants will be granted certificates of participation and the members of the winning teams will be granted letters of recommendation. Winning teams will be announced on the websites of institutions involved in organizing and sponsoring the event.
