Al-Ahliyya Amman University participates in the Leader International Boxing Championship
Within the efforts of Al-Ahliyya Amman University and its administration to achieve its vision to become a leading university not only in Jordan but also in the region, and on the basis of the University objectives related to interacting with the local community, Al-Ahliyya Amman University participated in Jordan Boxing Federation celebration, in coordination with Baq’a Sports Club, within the Leader International Championship, which was held in Prince Rashid Centre in Al-Hussein Youth City, with the participation of 23 teams. The teams represented 14 Arab and foreign countries comprising remarkable players at the Arab and Asian levels. This competition is held to commemorate the birthday of His Majesty King Abdullah II. Al-Ahliyya Amman University team took part in the championship and achieved advanced positions. At the end of the ceremony, Chairman of Jordan Boxing Federation, Mr. Tarek Awad, and head of Baq’a Sports Club, Mr. Omar Khamis, delivered the awards and honored the teams that contributed to and participated in the success of the championship.
