Al-Ahliyya Amman University Participates in the “Journey to the Holy Sites” Program in Saudi Arabia

Student Ibrahim Uraiqat from the Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences, majoring in Physical Therapy and President of the Physical Therapy Aoun Club, participated in the “Journey to the Holy Sites” program organized by the Ministry of Sports in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with the participation of a select group of youth from Arab and Islamic countries. The student participated as part of the delegation of the Jordanian Ministry of Youth, within the framework of promoting religious and humanitarian values and reinforcing concepts of brotherhood and cultural exchange among youth. The program included visits to the holy sites and learning about their history and significance, in addition to educational and awareness activities that contribute to building a conscious, moderate youth personality capable of representing their countries with distinction in international forums. The program also featured sessions on the management system of the holy sites, the organizational efforts and services provided to pilgrims, and Saudi experiences in crowd management and logistics. It further promoted dialogue and communication among participating youth and facilitated the exchange of experiences in youth, volunteer, and community service fields. Ibrahim Uraiqat demonstrated outstanding commitment, discipline, and positive engagement throughout the program activities, reflecting a positive image of Jordanian youth and enhancing their international representation. At the conclusion of the program, participants expressed their appreciation for the efforts of the Ministry of Sports in organizing this distinguished initiative, emphasizing the importance of sustaining such programs that strengthen ties among youth of the Islamic world and reinforce values of tolerance, belonging, and responsibility.
