Al-Ahliyya Amman University Participates in the International Youth Day Celebration

Under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Raed Al-Adwan, Minister of Youth, Al-Ahliyya Amman University participated in the International Youth Day celebration organized by the Ministry of Youth in cooperation with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), held at the Amman Grand Hall. The University was represented by Mr. Mohammad Al-Louzi, Head of the Student Activities and Clubs Department, accompanied by a delegation of students and alumni, who displayed examples of youth and social initiatives reflecting the creativity and potential of Jordanian youth across various fields. H.E. Dr. Mazen Abu Baqr, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Youth, a number of ministry directors, as well as representatives of international and official organizations, in addition to youth participants from different governorates of the Kingdom, attended the event. In his speech, the Minister of Youth emphasized that International Youth Day serves as an important platform to amplify the voices of young people and strengthen their role in the development process. He praised the continuous support that the youth receive from the Hashemite leadership and highlighted the significance of UN Security Council Resolution 2250 in reinforcing the role of youth in peace and security. The celebration also included interactive sessions addressing various topics such as community initiatives, political participation, entrepreneurship, environmental issues, cybersecurity, peace, and security.
