Al-Ahliyya Amman University participates in higher education workshop on design of interactive electronic courses and integration of e-learning
Al-Ahliyya Amman University, represented by Professor Dr. Khalid Al-Kaabana, Vice-President for e-Learning and Dean of the Faculty of Scientific Research, participated in the training workshop organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in cooperation and coordination with UNHCR, from 6-12-2021 to 9-12-2021, at Hussein Bin Talal Convention Center at the Dead Sea.The workshop aimed to train faculty members at public and private universities on the design of interactive electronic courses, presented by experts from Connected Learning in Crises Consortium. The university, along with presidents of Jordanian public and private universities and a group of experts in the higher education sector in Jordan, also participated in the dialogic sessions on the integration of e-learning in higher education programs. Professor Dr. Khaled Al-Kaabneh, vice president for e-learning affairs, participated as a representative of the university, and on behalf of the President of the University, with an intervention on the importance of e-Learning in raising the level of education in Jordan.It should be noted that this training workshop is part of a series of workshops carried out by the Ministry in support of universities in the e-learning process, in accordance with the ministry's plan to integrate e-learning into Jordanian higher education institutions.
