Al-Ahliyya Amman University Participates in Al-Balqa Governorate Job Fair to Promote Technical and Vocational Education Awareness

As part of its commitment to community engagement and to fostering a culture of technical and vocational education, Al-Ahliyya Amman University participated in the Job Fair organized by Aisha Bint Abi Bakr Mixed Secondary School in Salt on Wednesday and Thursday, May 7–8, 2025. The event was held under the patronage of Dr. Harb Khalaf Al-Hajjaj, Director of Education in Salt, with the participation of department heads, a large number of school students, and members of the local community. The university was represented by the Faculty of Technical Education and the Admissions and Registration Department. From the faculty, Lecturer Anas Al-Zaher, Program Coordinator, and Lecturer Hisham Lababneh, Quality Assurance Officer, took part. From the Admissions Department, Mr. Ahmad Al-Laddawi, Acting Head of the Admissions Section, represented the university. The university’s booth attracted significant interest from visitors, offering consultations and answers on the future prospects of technical education, distinctions between academic and technical tracks, and career opportunities post-graduation. In addition, various awareness materials were displayed, including informational brochures about the university's programs, guidance tools to help students choose the most suitable educational path based on their interests and personality, and symbolic giveaways for booth visitors. At the conclusion of the event, the Director of Education in Salt honored Al-Ahliyya Amman University with a commemorative shield in recognition of its active participation and outstanding contributions. It is worth noting that the Faculty of Technical Education was established in 2024 and has recently received international accreditation from Pearson BTEC for a range of Level 4 and Level 5 programs. These programs will be officially announced soon, with admissions opening for the upcoming 2025–2026 academic year.
