Al-Ahliyya Amman University Organizes Volunteer Campaign to Sort Clothing in Cooperation with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization

Al-Ahliyya Amman University organized a volunteer campaign to sort and classify clothing, aimed at supporting underprivileged families and promoting the values of social solidarity and humanitarian work. The campaign was coordinated jointly by the Deanship of Student Affairs, the Higher Committee for Activities and Community Service, and the University’s Volunteer Club, in cooperation with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization / Charity Clothing Bank. The campaign, held at the Charity Clothing Bank’s premises in Al-Mahatta area, brought together approximately 50 male and female students representing various colleges of the University, along with a number of administrative staff members from the Deanship of Student Affairs. Under the supervision of the Charity Clothing Bank staff, participants sorted, classified, and organized quantities of clothing designated for distribution to targeted families and households. This effort formed part of broader initiatives to organize and prepare donations in a manner that ensures they reach those in need. The campaign reflects Al-Ahliyya Amman University’s commitment to fostering a culture of volunteerism and social responsibility among its students, while promoting the values of giving, solidarity, and community service. It also provides students with opportunities to participate in humanitarian and community-based initiatives that support vulnerable groups and encourage a spirit of initiative. The campaign further demonstrates the University’s commitment to expanding its partnerships with national and humanitarian institutions, engaging its students in community service, and contributing to initiatives that create a lasting humanitarian and social impact.
