Al-Ahliyya Amman University Organizes Blood Donation Campaign Reflecting the Spirit of Giving and Social Responsibility
The Higher Committee for Activities and Community Service at Al-Ahliyya Amman University, in cooperation with the Jordanian Ministry of Health – National Blood Bank, the Deanship of Student Affairs, and the Medical Services Department, organized on Sunday, 17 May 2026, a blood donation campaign (the second campaign) for the 2025–2026 academic year on the university campus.
The campaign witnessed broad and distinguished participation from faculty and administrative staff members, as well as students, who expressed through their participation their humanitarian awareness and sense of social responsibility, emphasizing the importance of supporting the National Blood Bank and contributing to saving the lives of patients and individuals in need of blood.
The campaign activities commenced at 10:00 a.m. and continued until 2:00 p.m. in an atmosphere of cooperation and excellent organization among the participating bodies, which contributed to the campaign’s success and the achievement of its humanitarian and national objectives.
The university affirmed that such initiatives align with its mission of promoting the values of solidarity and volunteerism, fostering a culture of giving among its students and staff, and reinforcing its ongoing role in serving the local community and supporting health and humanitarian initiatives.
