Al-Ahliyya Amman University Organizes “Alcoholism and Addiction Risks” Lecture at Addiction Treatment Center

Based on the objectives of Al-Ahliyya Amman University to raise health awareness and positive interaction and bridge the gap between the local community institutions and the University, Dr. Samir Qamaz, Associate Professor in Toxicology at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences at Al-Ahliyya Amman University, delivered an educational and awareness lecture about “Alcoholism and Addiction Risks” to addicts, families, and the community. The lecture was given at the Addiction Treatment Center of the Anti-Drug Administration, in the presence of Dr. Mayada Wathaefi, administrators of the Center, and a large number of the Centre guests. Dr. Samir and the audience engaged in a positive dialogue. The Centre guests showed interest in this topic and acceptance of such educational lectures that raise awareness and provide guidance and advice.
