Al-Ahliyya Amman University Organizes a Lecture on the Upcoming Parliamentary Elections

The Higher Committee for Community Service and Activities in Al-Ahliyya Amman University, under the auspices of the President of the University, HE Prof. Dr. Sadeq Hamed, organized a lecture on the upcoming parliamentary elections. HE Mr. Hussein Bani Hani, Spokesman of the Independent Electoral Commission, addressed the actions taken by the Commission to ensure optimal outcomes of the electoral process. He stressed that the strict measures for controlling the ballot boxes aim to achieve the best results in the upcoming elections. He pointed out to the facilities provided by the Independent Electoral Commission for the illiterate and those with special needs in order to ensure exercising their constitutional right. The meeting was attended by a number of deans, faculty members, administrators, and students. At the end of the lecture, there was an extensive discussion about the implications of the electoral process and methods of counting votes during which Mr. Bani Hani responded to the students inquiries
