Al-Ahliyya Amman University organizes a lecture on smoking risks
Based on the concern of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, represented by Professor Dr. Sadeq Hamid, President of the University, with keeping abreast with the latest developments in issues of concern to faculty members, students and the community, the Faculty of Nursing at the University hosted Mrs. Agnes Capper, health education instructor at the American Lung Association and an expert in smoking addiction treatment principles and methods. The expert presented a lecture on the latest developments in quitting smoking techniques. On the other hand, Prof. Inam Khalaf, Dean and Vice President for Academic Affairs, confirmed the role of the Faculty of Nursing in raising health awareness among students and society as a whole and the importance of being informed of the global experience in this area. The meeting was attended by faculty members of the Faculty of Nursing and of the University, and a large number of Faculty and University students.
