Al-Ahliyya Amman University Organizes a Free Medical Day in Al-Bqa’a

On the occasion of the anniversary departure of the late Dr. Ahmad Al-Horani, God rest his soul, the founder of the university, the Deanship of Student Affairs in Al-Ahliyya Amman University organized the free medical day activities and the Winter Clothes Campaign for the chaste families on Saturday corresponding to 24/12/2016.The campaign which took place in Al-Yarmouk Club/Al-Baqa’a provided services to people of Mrafa’ah, Mubes, Al-Suleihy, Ein-Al-Basha and Al-Baqa’q area. The Campaign included clinics in various specializations and the distribution of free medicines to patients as well as organizing a health workshop for the local community. The campaign also included the distribution of heaters and blankets to the chaste families. Prof. Sadiq Hamid, the President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, who supervised the implementation of the campaign recalled proudly the white hands of the late founder whose students are following his path in providing assistance to the local community. He also valued the efforts of the Deanship of Student Affairs, the Faculty of Nursing, the Department of Medical Services and the Department of Public Relations in preparing for this great event which will take place annually in the anniversary departure of the late Dr. Ahmad Al-Horani.
